The first batch of students had carried out two research projects, one on glue sniffing among street children in the Kathmandu Valley and the other on Knowledge and perception about avian influenza among residents of Imadol VDC. Both the projects were accepted for presentation at an International Student Research Conference in Mangalore, India. Four students represented the college at this prestigious conference. The abstracts of the research papers will be published in the Journal of Young Investigators shortly.
Our quiz team won the second prize at the Intermedical college quiz competition held at the Institute of Medicine, Kathmandu. Students also enthusiastically participated in various Intercollege competitions
