Dr. Adhyashree Karki is a highly experienced physician with 15 years of dedicated practice in the field of medicine. She completed her MBBS and MD at the esteemed Manipal College of Medical Sciences and Teaching Hospital. Following her initial working experience as a consultant physician in the Department of Internal Medicine at Kathmandu Medical College and Teaching Hospital, she pursued a Doctorate in Medicine (DM) in Gastroenterology, which she completed in 2022.
Since then, Dr. Karki has built an impressive career in Gastroenterology and Hepatology, currently serving at KIST Medical College & Teaching Hospital for the past 3 years. Her multifaceted role includes providing expert care to both outpatient and inpatient populations, where she performs a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).
In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Karki is passionate about medical eduation, actively teaching and mentoring students in the MBBS, BDS, and MD programs. Her commitment to fostering the next generation of healthcare professionals is evident in her engaging and supportive teaching style.
Dr. Karki is also skilled in the comprehensive management of liver transplant patients, involved in both pre and post-evaluation and follow-up care to ensure optimal outcomes.
