A bilateral Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between India’s Medanta Hospital and KIST Teaching Hospital with the broad objective of expanding healthcare services.

This agreement will strengthen mutual cooperation between the two institutions in advancing and expanding specialized medical services. It is expected to provide significant relief to patients suffering from complex and serious illnesses, especially those who previously had to travel to India for treatment.

For patients who have already received treatment in India, the partnership will reduce the need for repeated travel by enabling follow-up evaluations and medical reviews at KIST Teaching Hospital itself. In addition, doctors and technical staff at KIST will benefit from periodic training opportunities, skills enhancement programs, and professional exchanges with Medanta’s experts.

KIST Teaching Hospital is set to introduce state-of-the-art technologies, with coordinated development in advanced services such as cardiac surgery, bone marrow transplant, radiation oncology, and more.
