First Successful Liver Transplant

First case of liver transplant is discharged from our hospital.

Kist Hospital is Nepal’s One and Only Private Hospital licensed for both Kidney and Liver Transplant service.

Patient is 50 Year Old Male who received part of liver from his 48 year old wife.

Surgery time for Recipient was 13.5 hours and for Donor it was 7.5 hours. 60% of liver was taken from donor (wife) which was implanted into recipient (husband).

Donor and Recipient, both fully recovered and are in good condition.
