In the past one and half decade the college and its teaching hospital have experienced all round growth in academics and clinical services and has become one of the preferred destinations for undergraduate and postgraduate medical and dental education in the country. I am pleased to share with you that the College has dedicated 650 medical and 151 dental graduates to the nation. Most of them are already engaged in the national health systems. Likewise, postgraduate program (MD/MS/MDS) has reached its final third year. From this year we have started DM and MCh programs. The management, academic heads and the coordinators are committed to provide quality education to students and residents of under-graduate, post-graduate and sub-specialty programs.
I am happy to inform you that we are catering to the health needs of the population through a well equipped hospital with state-of-the-art infrastructure and modern facilities with well equipped central oxygen supply system, modern anaesthetic and operation theater equipment. The hospital provides dialysis and nephrology services under the leadership of renowned consultants of Nephrology. The KIST Teaching Hospital has been enlisted for various government health services, namely: free haemo-dialysis, head & spine injury and cancer under bipanna sewa. I am delighted to inform all our parents, students and well-wishers that we have successfully performed 100+ kidney transplant and one liver transplant surgeries. Kidney transplant service was started since 2021.
We are always dedicated to offer best teaching learning environment to our students and residents. Our lecture halls are air-conditioned and equipped with all required audiovisual aids.
